  • Actuarial Graduate Scheme

    Location: Birmingham

    Actuaries play a critical role in helping Beazley understand, quantify and manage risk. Using mathematics, data analysis and statistical modelling, they support key business decisions and help shape the future of our underwriting portfolio. 

    As an Actuarial Graduate, you'll gain exposure to areas such as pricing, reserving, capital modelling and business analytics. You'll work with large datasets, solve complex problems and help influence strategic decision-making across the business. This programme offers an excellent opportunity for analytical thinkers who enjoy working with data and want to build a career in a highly respected profession. 

    Entry Requirements: 2:1 Degree in a numerical subject 

  • Marine, Aviation & Political Risks (MAP) Underwriting Graduate Scheme

    Location: London 

    Marine, Aviation & Political Risks is one of the most exciting and globally connected areas of specialist insurance. The team helps protect businesses operating across international trade, transportation, aviation and complex geopolitical environments. 

    As a MAP Underwriting Graduate, you'll learn how to assess a wide range of risks, from commercial aircraft and cargo movements to political instability and global supply chain exposures. You'll develop strong commercial awareness, build relationships with brokers and clients, and gain insight into the industries that keep the world connected.

  • Specialty Underwriting Graduate Scheme

    Location: London 

    Specialty Underwriting focuses on unique and complex risks across a broad range of industries. From professional services and healthcare organisations to technology businesses and media companies, Specialty Underwriters help clients manage challenges that require expertise and tailored solutions. 

    As a Graduate Underwriter, you'll learn how to evaluate risks, understand emerging trends and develop innovative insurance solutions. You'll combine analytical thinking with relationship-building skills while gaining exposure to some of the most interesting sectors in the global economy.

  • Cyber Underwriting Graduate Scheme

    Location: London 

    Cyber is one of the fastest-growing and most innovative areas of insurance. As organisations become increasingly reliant on technology, the need to protect against cyber threats has never been greater. 

    As a Cyber Underwriting Graduate, you'll gain insight into areas such as ransomware, data breaches, technology failures and cyber resilience. You'll work closely with brokers and clients to understand their risk landscape and help deliver solutions that enable businesses to operate with confidence in an increasingly digital world.

  • Property Underwriting Graduate Scheme

    Location: London 

    Property Underwriting helps businesses protect some of their most valuable assets. From commercial buildings and global property portfolios to climate-related exposures and catastrophe risks, Property Underwriters provide clients with the confidence to invest and grow. 

    As a Property Underwriting Graduate, you'll learn how to assess physical risks, analyse exposure data and develop insurance solutions that meet the needs of clients across a wide range of industries. You'll build an understanding of global risk trends and play a key role in helping businesses recover when the unexpected happens.
